Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Just got this item, and used it on 2 trips so far.
I was debating between this and the hotronics snapdry, which are similar in concept. The pivoting nature of the arms is why I picked this one.
It will put out slow stream of air that are just a little over body temp, so no worrying about overcooking your boots, and my not-too-wet ski-boots were dry using the 3hours timer.

One thing to note, the unit has a "fragrance" bar in there; which adds fragrance to "deodorize" your boots. The smell is not good, a little like weird housecleaner, and will prevade your room. The instructions do say that over time it will wear off, hopefully this occur sooner.
If it keeps working as it does right now, I'm happy with it.

But giving it 4stars, because although it's the premium model and expensive it's missing some things that other products have:
wish list:
-240v capability
-nozzle tips for glove
-disassembly/fit into your boots capability
-12v adapter to use in car.

i use this with a giro seam medium. It works for me; but one thing to note are the straps are almost all the way expanded.

All helmet/goggle combos though depend on how you wear your helmet so what works for my face and head might not work for your head.

S in another giro means you should go for the same size for this one .

But it is fit that matters. You need to try it on to see if shape of your head is a match to the shape of this helmet.

There seems to be some variance in quality control, some units may have a very rattle in the slider when the vents are fully open, while other units are rattle free. Even if you get a rattling helmet though, you can either close the vents a little bit or just put a sticker over the slider.

Either way though, pretty comfortable helmet, now waiting for snow so i can try it on the slopes.
