"Gorakshep is a frozen lakebed covered with sand in Nepal and the name of small village that sits at its edge at 5,164 m (16,942 ft) altitude, near Mount Everest.".....this being said, it is frigging freezing. just got back and thinking about gear used, this bag was a lifesaver at night. very warm and fully functional. only thing i would ask for would be a front pocket to keep headlamp, i-pod, ect.. wonderful bag for the price! good job stoic!!

as they are a little on the pricy side, try to have somebody else buy them for you!! that being said these are a wonderful pant!! super warm and very wind resistant. bib portion detaches which is great for warmer days. was nervous going with a brand i was not too familiar with but they have been awesome!! solid buy!!

like the specs say, you will have approx 100+/- Sq.Ft. of "usable space". with this tent you also have the additional storage area in the vestibule area. i have spent time in one however i own mountain hardware and TNF tents. with this tent, it is cool how the poles actually push outward, giving even a bit more room. one thing i would have wanted would be more gear loops inside. hope this helps.

This tent is made for the cold. Super insulated and huge for two people. Great gear loops and baskets for storing gear, and keeping things close for a 3am bathroom break. The only problem, and the reason its not quite perfect, are the stakes. I know M-H is trying to keep weight to a minimum but the steak "fitting" portion is very small and the tent loops can come undone if the tension loosens a bit. Otherwise a great addition to add to your arsenal!
