I grieve for the troubles of the previous reviewer, but thankfully we have had nothing but great success with this tent. We live in one of the windiest places on earth--the panhandle of Texas. Yesterday the wind was gusting 50--again!
We've used this quality tent in the windy canyon near our home, and on high alpine lakes also--at this altitude it snugs up to our SUV and makes my wife feel safer if bears should happen into the area. Ours has the airbed option. The temescal has never failed to be comfortable, easy to set up--although we once tried to set it up with the poles to our paha screenhouse!! We find the tent to be quiet in the wind, stable and worry-free. We LOVE how the beds fold against walls during the day, and we like the big gear loft and the outside access to the inside side pockets--you know--grab the toilet paper quick when ya gotta go! It is beautiful, state of the art quality. We own 3 PQ tents and highly praise each one.
My only comment would be the TC tent is better for 2 adults and a dog, not a family--probably want the Pamo for that. Smaller has its advantages, too. Highly recommended if you want comfort, stability, looks and quality--oh--and the best Cust. srvc in the world--those guys at PQ take care of you.
