Beyond comfortable!
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The new Poco AG is a breakthrough when it comes to kid carrier technology. I threw it on with my son Apollo in tow, and expected comfort, but not like this. I have been a rep for Osprey for 22 years (full disclosure), and I can honestly say that the AG technology that Mike Pfotenhauer and his design team developed takes carrying a load (whether is a 20 pound kiddo in the Poco AG or a 40 pound load of gear in the Atmos AG) will blow your mind!
Here is my wife Anne demoing the pack in our kitchen, ready for a spring hike on Saturday in the foothills outside of Denver.

I have used these Stormtracker Heated gloves in the backcountry, at first, wondering why it didnt have more insulation. After the first time out, I understood! The 3 levels of heat output took care of me along the way, but mostly I just needed the gloves on low the whole time. That just helped take the chill out of my fingers. When the temps really dipped, then i pumped up the heat. Consider aso buying an extra set of batteries from OR, so you can have your heat for those really long days! The low setting gives you 8-9 hours of comfort.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

Being familiar with the women's version of this model, I can tell you that Scott NAILED it on this design. Phenomenal traction, great fit lace to toe, and GoreTex. Everything I wanted. I would put this into the "aggressive trail run / hike" category. This is not an ultralite, nor is it trying to be. But if you want something that is going to chew up the trail (in a good way!), then you have found your pair!

Osprey's efficient stuff sack concept!

This is an image that we reps saw to help us show and explain to our retailers (and our customers) how the squared off shape of the stuff packs really work. They pack like building blocks, not building "balls", like what happens to most tubular stuff sacks. The compression stuff sack by Osprey is shaped like a trapezoid to fit precisely in the bottom sleeping bag compartment. Brilliant!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I say both! Why limit it? This comforter does live in my home and couldnt be better for a cozy movie on the couch. I've heard of folks who also use it as a comforter in their tent, which is great as well. Western simply makes the BEST down products!

Note of caution: My French bulldog loves it too, and I just have to watch her nails on the fabric. Not a huge deal, just something to be aware of, AND its the tradeoff between luxurios cloud like comfort and a bomber piece of gear. Treat her right. :-)

I love the VooDoo! I already have the Ferrosi Pant, and like the VooDoo as well because the fabric is a little burlier and stand up to my abuse just great. Climbing, hiking and backpacking are my activities of choice for the VooDoo. And, because it has a fun style, I can wear them out to the brewery after a fun day outside, or even in to work!

I have used this T running and hiking, and my favorite part is that it wicks great, but doesn't feel like my plastic running jerseys! The cotton content in this piece is just right and gives me the comfort of cotton, but the wicking of a synthetic! On top of that, the FreshGuard odor treatment really does the trick when I get to stink!

The Essence styling is absolutely adorable on! The cap sleeve are great, as is the small piping for design. The fabric is a wool synthetic blend, and allows for a lightweight year round fabric that is soft, doesn't itch, and feels like a natural fiber, not like plastic! Great pick for your gear drawer!
