Just got back from Nepal and India. This bag was great- it was used everywhere, from filthy hotel rooms to high mountain passes and it performed wonderfully. In Bhimthang, Nepal, near Mt Manaslu we were snowed in after our guest house was blown down in a blizzard (no lie). 1st night I awoke as the roof was being torn off, and the bag was already covered with 4 inches of snow. I was warm and cozy, but evacuated with the group due to the obvious structural instability of our guesthouse. The bag's shell got wet, the down never did. Great bag, and it compresses small (just don't store it like that!)

Just returned from 2 months of trekking in India and Nepal. I found that while these boots offer fantastic protection and great traction, they were just too heavy for me. They were fairly waterproof, though I did get a bit of wetness after 8 hours in snow (that is a lot for any boot) The lugs are huge, and take some getting used to since you add a couple inches of height but they handle any terrain, and I was never worried about twisting an ankle. The break-in period is significant, but it is always that way for top-grain leather. Overall, it is a well-made boot but I would only buy it again for a technical mountaineering trip, not a trek.

So I am currently wearing the scree pants, fresh out of the package. My first reaction upon trying them on? "Sweet!" (add mental image of goofy fist-pump) I did some high knees to test them: they have complete free range of motion. If I had the ability to do a split, I could do one wearing these pants. Unbelievably comfortable. I got these for an upcoming trek in India and Nepal. I am 5'10", 175lbs, medium frame. I have the medium/short screes. I may never take them off again. Will update after I take them hiking, but I am confident they will be awesome.
