Will the bag(s) zip apart to be carried separately?
I bought these for my wife and myself for canyoneering, I am a 12-13 and the 12's I ordered were too small, they have a round toebox so if your big toe is longer than your second toe you better size up rather than down, am returning for 13's. my wife wears a 7.5 womens and the 7 mens was just big enough for a thick wool sock. Just came back from lake powell's west canyon she says they did great on the mossy slick stuff. Hope to get my new ones before pine creek next weekend!
Ultimate all around snowshoe? I think so! I have the regular Denali shoes and got these for my wife, she likes it when her gear tops mine, works for me! After 3 days on Pine Valley Mountain I may trade mine in for these. The uphills are so much easier on the legs and ankles. This is one item you dont want to cheap out on. Well worth the cost!
How about a stuff size on this one?
spent the night at 10,000 feet. inexpensive bivy+rain, hail and snow= bad night. bag was drenched by 6 am but inside was dry! had to abandon ship by 7am it was sinking, water pooled up inside bivy and came in the zipper area. Bag dries out quickly and i love the extra room. I am comforatable to 30 a little cold at 20. great bag for the buck
