I wore these out a few times snowboarding this year, the only time my hands got cold was a day where it was around 10F and in the negatives with wind chill. I usually wear them with a long sleeve shirt that has thumbholes while snowboarding and tuck them into my jacket to prevent snow getting up in there. I also wear them around daily to walk the dog . They are really good at keeping your hands dry as well, I have used them to make snowballs and play in the snow with no problems.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

These pants are real comfortable, I usually wear them alone, if it is <10 F i would wear something extra under it. I like the vents on the inside of the legs, they are nice for keeping cool when eating lunch. Zippered pockets are cool too. I don't really have an issue with the button at the bottom of the pant legs, doesn't stay buttoned well but it doesn't bother me.

Some problems, but nice to run in

I love running in these, however after a couple months of use they developed small holes directly behind the rubber toe (that look like they will spread). I exchanged them for another pair. My foot seems to be between a 10 and a 10 1/2 (I usually wear a 10 1/2). I would recommend buying them on the smaller side, because it looks like the hole was caused by wear due to the extra space (wasn't very much but it looks like it made the difference). Since swapping out for the smaller size I haven't had any problems and really like running in these. Make sure you take some time to get used to the different mechanics of running it these vs traditional sneakers.

I bought this bag for day to day commutes and to take on day hikes. I wear it around the city with about 15 pounds of stuff (books, laptop, etc). I love the weight distribution with this bag, and i hardly feel it on my shoulders. Its got pretty good storage space, and it collapses pretty small so it could probably be used only as a hydration unit if you scrunch it all down. I have done some hiking (nothing too long), the bag performed as i expected and was comfortable the whole time and the hydration system works fine too. Only complaint (minor one) is the waist strap, near the clasp the strap is pretty thin so a little less comfortable (in that area alone) than other other bags i have used. Again only taking about the waist strap, the bag as a whole is awesome one of the best i've had.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Been wearing these almost daily for about 4 months now, they are really comfortable and extremely warm.
Update:
They survived the winter in Russia and so did my feet, these boots are great and i would definitely recommend them; I wear a 10.5 in most things (sneakers, some boots etc) i have a 10 in these and they fit nice.
