I have been running in Altra Lone Peaks and 1.5's since they came out. I absolutely love the shoes but find the quality control from Altra to be lacking. I think 1 out of 12 plus pairs I have had have come with no defects. The latest pair had the tongue sewn in crooked, the pair before the lace eyelet ripped out after only a few miles, the pair before had a big ball of glue under the liner, and so on. Does this make it less of a perfect shoe for me, no. but it is a big pain in the A$$. I will continue to buy and run in them because when all of the issues are gone they are like slippers for rugged terrain.
