Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love this TI pot and bought a few when they where on sale. I have been using them since it was under the backcountry.com brand and it's the perfect size for my needs.. I have a lot of other TI pots that cost a lot more than these but they just collect dust. Don't buy one, "buy two".

I have this one and the 600.
I love the size of the 450 and the insulation is great. I use this mug every day at home and for the price it can't be beat. The only issue I have, is the lid had become too losse and does not form a tight seal so I don't use the lid anymore. I would of gave it five stars if the lid was not losse.
Even with the issue with the lid it's a great buy.

I just received my 1100 ti set and it is just what I needed.
As soon as it was droped off at my door I had my stove out and ready to test it. The pot sits perfect on the Snow Peak LiteMax.
The pot can safely hold 4 cups of water to boil and the lid holds 1cup.. The lid fits nice and snug on the pot but I don't see me using it as a fry pan, but it does work well as a cup and to measure out 8oz at a time. The LiteMax stove brought 4 cups of room temp water
to a boil in 3 min. I can fit a large Jetboil gas canister, LiteMax stove, and a folding ti spork in the pot wrapped in a cloth with a little room to spare.
This is truly a bargain for A titanium pot and I will be ordering another one tonight..

The is a nice compact and light set. I use the large pot to make meals and boil water. I use the small pot with Snow Peak Hot Lips as a cup and have used the pan for sautéing. I can fry a egg in the pan with no problems when I fry my bacon in the pan first and leave the grease in the pan. With any titanium cook set you do have to watch the heat and need a stove you can regulate if you really want to cook meals, but once you get used to it it is pretty simple.
