I've worked, climbed, and hiked in this fleece. Great for layering, kept me warm down to 20 degrees with a long sleeve base layer, the R1 and a shell. Any colder and it would be uncomfortable. I'm 5'10" 180 athletic build with long arms and a medium fit great. Breathability is good. As the zipper gets to the very top of the neck it tends to jam....the only downside so far.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

just try to destroy them, after 2 years and about 100 climbs in them they hardly show signs of wear. i did have a blow out in the crotch and a pocket zipper tear off. i would still highly reccommend them. tougher than arborwear ascent pant and pfanner stretch, however not good for warm days unless you enjoy sweat running down your legs. great built in waist adjustment. gonna try the light weight pants for this summer. i'm 5'10" 180 athletic build, normally 32/32 and the fit is perfect
