Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size

I tried 7 jackets (from Patagonia, Arcteryx, Lofoten)before choosing the Rush and I'm very happy. I was looking for a jacket that works for resort and backcountry skiing, and the occasional rock scramble while carrying a pack and skis and the Rush totally fits the bill. It fits great without any extra bulk, the arms have full ROM, the storm hood is easy to use and fits over any helmet, the powderskirt is bomb-proof and the bottom opening is wide enough so there's no restriction of leg movement. The material is very durable so far, and the internal and external pockets and venting are quick to use and perfectly placed. The jacket fits great with a backpack too.

I tried the Patagonia Primo and didn't like the fit - tons of material around the torso, and the same for the Arcteryx caden, sidewinder and sidewinder SV - too bulky. For sizing I'm 5'11 175 lbs with big thighs and the Medium fits great. I've worn this jacket in whiteout conditions above treeline and hiking ridges on sunny days dripping sweat and the jacket does wonders for blocking wind and moisture control - a huge plus if you sweat a lot.

Great quality and fit - hard to argue with Patagonia. I've used this for resort skiing, skinning, backcountry and cross country skiing and the merino keeps you warm even when sweating, and also does an impressive job of keeping the stink away. The hood is tailored closely to the head and easily fits under a helmet.

I loved the helmet but my head circumference is 58-59 cm which fell between the M/L and XL/XXL, and neither fit well. Helmet fit is definitely a matter of personal preference but I want a helmet to be snug enough so it won't move around even with the chin strap on the looser side. I found a Giro helmet that fit perfectly - but I wish the Fornix came in a few more sizes.

Fit: Runs large

I love LG products for their attention to detail and great fit and pretty much stick to LG for bibs, jerseys and accessories. These bib tights were not up to their usual standard. They were baggy around the waist and the chamois was bulky and fit poorly. I went with the Course Elite Bib Tights which fit like a glove, are lighter and do an excellent job of maintaining warmth on cold days. I'm 5'11 175 lbs with large thighs (I'm built more like a skier than cyclist) and the Large in the course elite fit great. Spend the extra money - totally worth it.

I love LG cycling clothing, and XL has always fit me well, but these were too tight, both in the legs and the bib length over the torso. I'm 5'11 and 180, thicker than most cyclists, but for anyone over 5'9 these are going to be tight in the shoulders, and don'tbother if you have big thighs.
