Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love this hammock. It is small and compact, about the size of my Nalgene bottle (32oz) and weighs less than that filled with water. I have heard some people whining about this hammocks lack of "slapstraps" but I have had no problem coming up with some cord to tie up with. I use about 15 feet of 3mm cord and it even fits into the stuff sack. Have not really put two full size people into this thing but I'm confident that it would hold, but maybe up the cord to 5mm. I have slept in it over in Eastern Washington and loved it, definatly my choice of camping slumber. Its perfect for just about anywhere you wish to sprawl out and relax. The fabric breaths really well so no worries about getting too sweaty in it. Also the 400lb carabiners make it really quick to set up and take down. Highly recomend over the singlenest.

God bless the NorthWest

Familiarity: I've used it several times

The image here of this product is very well representative of the real thing. I got this jacket because I needed a basic, lightweight rain jacket, and this shell is right on the money. Thus far I have taken it into the typhoon like conditions of the cascades in the spring and this shell held up just fine, a little bit of wetting out in spots but did not penitrate the shell and so I stayed dry. The other day I hiked up Rainier to Mihr with this and the pit zips definatly help dump the heat. I hiked through snow and some rain showers and some 40 mph winds and was glad to have the Vaporshell with me. It blocks the wind well and the hood is pretty comfortable, however, the fact the the drawcords are placed inside the edges of the hood got in the way of my vision a little bit. Overall I really like this jacket and would recomend it to anyone looking for a lightweight shell that performs exceptionally for its price point.

God bless the NorthWest!

I loved this beanie right out of the box. It looks just as pictured on the backcountry page. Its soft, with a great fleece lining around the base, this is definitely not a slouch style beanie . I have worn it during mid 20* on up to 40* and it keeps my head and ears quite warm. My only beef with this hat is that the back where my goggle strap rides got all fuzzy and so the knit pattern got all smucked up. I figured since it will cost me half as much as I paid for it in order to make a return that I will just deal with it. Other than that one issue this is a great hat.
