I wear a US 10.5, started with the 44 based on size chart, and ended up with the 45.5 and they fit perfectly.
Haven't used them yet but tread looks good and quality of the upper seems pretty good too. Great value with the sale price.
Plastic mud studs come on the shoes, but are smaller than normal ones and may be there to just take up space until you screw in the "legit" metal ones.
Don't forget to buy new cleats, too.
i normally wear a US 10.5. ordered a 44 which should equate to a US 11, but it was still small. Other than that, shoes look like they'd do the job well and are a good width, not too narrow, not too wide. Don't forget to buy cleats to go with the pedals also.
i got this for my son, and it looks, feels and performs like a similar soft shell jacket from a large snowboard manufacturer that i wear in all types of weather. it's functional in temps from the mid 50's down to the 20's if you layer it properly. it's not totally waterproof, but sheds rain and snow easily and does a great job of blocking the wind.
