Tried this last night in our exploits to find the best tasting, long term storage/camping food we can find. I was not disappointed! Once again, easy to make. The macaroni was came out perfect and the chili/beef was superb. This beats Hormel and other canned chili's by far. As a matter of fact, we going to eat down our supply of those and replace them with these. Plus, there is the added bonus of weight during backpacking and size for storage. These are very light, especially in the pro-pack. Another winner in our books! It was so good that my three year old thought that I made it. Of course, I told her I did. ;-D

This is a great dish. I was amazed to see the size of the chicken pieces, since in most freeze dried food they are barely noticable. The flavor is awesome, similar to chicken Rice-a-Roni, except add REAL chicken and some veggies. This was the first dish we tried with Mountain House, which, in turn, resulted in us buying a large stock of several of their dishes for long term storage. As we test them all, we'll give a review and hopefully I'll remember to take pix. These are attractive meals as well. VERY FRESH TASTING!

My wife, daughter and I tried this one last night. We only used the 1 serving size as a tester. This was an incredibly tasty dish, and I'm not much of a vegetable eater. The pasta wasn't overly firm and the sauce was very creamy. I didn't have any problem with watery consistency. The flavor was awesome and I was chastised by my wife for not having more. My three year old daughter even asked for more! We going to add this to our food stock list to keep on hand, as well as ensure we have plenty for our family camping trips. (I'll have to keep one aside for when I go backpacking...but don't tell momma that. ;-D) Oh, forgot to mention that my wife is Thai and very picky about how her food tastes. She finished up the remainder before our daughter or I could stop her. Not a lot of pix on here, so I will endeavor to take them whenever we use these.
