Stylish and semi-functional.

This is my first pair of Smith goggles. I always always ridden Anon Figments (and I am going back). I loved the appeal, super sleek and feminine. It's nice to cover up your face with something that won't necessarily block your pretty looks. I got the Fuchsia/Orange with the Gradient/Red Mirror lens. So this is the good: The lens is awesome, I get compliments all of the time on how amazing they look, that's it! The bad: The fit of the goggles themselves.. no bueno! Unless you have a small face, or your eyes are super close to your nose, you get no peripheral vision, the strap is SUPER thin they don't really cover your ears over your beanie if you rock ear buds. I have a lot of issues with the straps.. The cheap plastic "fast clip" in the back comes undone easily! I have already lost my goggles off of the chair a few times (luckily I think I have good karma and got them back!), this clip also interferes if you wear a helmet, it is right where you latch your goggles to the back of your helmet (also, they look REALLY small on your face once you put a helmet on, it's funny!). The straps also are not easy to loosen and tighten and they will come out of the plastic. All in all, these are CUTE goggles, the lenses are awesome (okay in low light situations, great in sun), really though.. I can't see anything but what's directly in front of me and I can't stand the straps, they are worthless.

I live and ride Bear Mountain every day of the season. I am always on the hunt for longer/taller, slim-fit hoodies functional for the daily shred. When I saw this hoodie I figured it would be perfect since it has all of the features I am looking for, ie: Slim/tall fit, weather proofing material, and best of all.. pockets that zip closed. I am a smaller girl (5'5'', slim), but I ordered an XL since I am looking for a roomier fit. Let me tell you, it's a nice hoodie and all.. but there are some key factors that Oakley totally missed, and some details that are pretty useless. The good: The material is super nice, slightly wind/water resistant, pockets zip shut, medium/long fit, and the inside is a nice warm fleece. The bad: The zippers are horrible! With Oakley's attempt to make this a seemingly "zipperless" jacket, it's a pain to try and zip and unzip yourself because the zippers are TINY! Slim fit.. no, it's a little frumpy. The jacket makes you appear shapeless. The sleeves are a little short for my liking, with the thumb holes I feel as if I am pulling on myself while moving around (mind the fact I got the XL). And worst of all.. the hood has a funky "visor" sewn into it.. it looks really lame when you pull your hood over.. nor does the hood really fit that great (it pulls the jacket up in the back when you put it on). Anyway, needless to say.. I wear it under my heavy jackets on cold days given the warm fleece interior. I wouldn't really recommend it. Cute for a little girl.. not for a woman.
