Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

I only use wool for running and backpacking, since synthetic just starts to smell awful. This tank is really lightweight and great for hot weather. I've used it on a 4-day backpacking trip and it still smelled fine at the end. I have the grey and black, and the only unavoidable problem is that sweat darkens the grey so it looks kinda gross after a workout. Other than that, it looks really sleek and flattering.

These have worked great for me for road running. My feet don't feel as cramped in as other running shoes and it has actually been better on the joints and knees for me since it makes me run with higher turnover as opposed to long strides. I guess the thing that I miss from my other shoes is that spring when I lift off from the step.

Bought this with the DAKINE Fall Line Single Ski Bag so that I can check them during flight. This worked out well for my boots and some extra stuff. Be careful with the front pocket, be sure to secure the zipper pulls well otherwise they come apart pretty easily during transit. When I picked up my bag from the baggage claim, there was a gaping hole between the zipper pulls.. luckily everything important was still there.

Also, be sure to take the shoulder strap off and pack it before checking it.

Otherwise, it looks good and worked well as a boot bag.

Bought this so I could take my skis as checked baggage. Worked well. I used my ski clothes to add extra padding. Would be better with wheels as it can get rather heavy to tote everything.

Also, I kept forgetting to do this, but it's a good idea to take the strap off and pack it, before you check the bag, as it might get lost during travel.

I've used this pack for long day hikes and have hauled 20-25lbs with my 10 essentials, extra layers, food and water. It is very comfortable and lightweight. It just feels like there is a pillow strapped to my back. The drawback is that on hot days, there is no ventilation for the back area. I then used my osprey pack for comparison, and while it is ventilated with more support, I definitely felt the weight much more even with the same amount of stuff. I still prefer the GoLite Jam2 for day hikes. Be sure to be very organized with your stuff as there are only 2 compartments, a hydration bladder pocket and no extra organizers within the pack (which I prefer, to minimize weight and unnecessary extras).

This is a great vest. I used it for skiing and it was very comfortable. The great thing about synthetic insulation (and I had researched that this is the best synthetic insulation type) is that it insulates even when wet. Particularly when using it for winter sports, when you constantly go between sweating and becoming cold, it is superior to goose down.
