Familiarity: I've used it several times

I was in search of a light weight polarized sunglass for general use, and fishing. These have been spot on. My face is narrow, so wide glasses just don't fit. These fit perfectly. The optics are clear, and as good as a pair of old and somewhat scratched Maui Jim's. The rubber grip on the nose and ear pieces prevent slip when you sweat. The grey lens is good in most light conditions, but maybe not the best when looking right into very bright sun. My maui's are polarized HCl bronze, and if they get much worse, I will consider replacing with another pair of Costa's. The maui's are glass lenses, and although very durable, the weight makes them slip off your nose if you sweat.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I had been looking for a warm jacket that did not look like a technical outdoor piece of gear. This has not disappointed. I am 6'2", 175lbs, and the large fits nicely. Just enough room for light fleece or heavy shirt underneathe. It has a decent amount of insulation, so I expect as the temps here in VT drop, I will be warm in all but the coldest days. This is really a go-to-work, or out to dinner jacket, and I would not use it for cold weather sports. I look forward to testing it when spectating at our local college soccer and football games.
