Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
After wearing the old Gore Windstopper version for 7 years I got a new Airshield this spring but only got to wear it the last few days hiking the dog. I live in Park City UT and it's not that cold yet but the jacket is frigid on the shoulders and sleeves. I have skied many days in my old Windstopper and was never cold in this area. The Airshield may block wind but has poor insulation .Be warned this is not as warm as the Gore Windstopper it replaced. Super disappointed as it's been too long to return it.
