Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is the perfect hat for spending a significant amount of time in the rain. I love that it is waterproof and will keep your head dry. I have used this hat extensively in Alaska and fishing the northern Minnesota and it has never let me down. It is very packable and will roll-up and fit in a pocket while not is use. It is also lightweight so you feel like your not even wearing it. It might be a little warm for the middle of the summer but it does great the rest of the year.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have found a new go to jacket. I thought the Arc'teryx Beta AR was perfect but this one is even better. This is the perfect 3 season storm shell. It fits over an insulating layer. The pockets are well placed and the pit zips are so easy to use with one hand. The inside pocket works well for holding keys or other small items.

The only other con is that some people might not like the bright colors.

I am 5'11" and 180 lbs and a large provides room for a softshell underneath in the winter without being too large without.

The windstopper fabric is thin but does a great job keeping the wind off. The fabric is fairly thin so it isn't great when the temp gets below freezing, but it is a perfect fall coat or layering piece.

The downside is there aren't enough pockets. It could really use an interior pocket. I am 5'11" and 180lbs and a large fits good.

The vest is very thin making it great as a layering piece. Like the Tech jacket, the collar wasn't incredibly uncomfortable. The sizing wasn't as much of an issue as it is more of a layering item. I am 5'11" and 180lbs and wear a large in most items. For this vest, I had to get an extra large and the body fit fine in the shoulders and chest but it barely made my waist.

This was the first Windstopper jacket I ever got. It was a gift from my parents. The jacket is very thin and isn't suitable for winter wear. It would make a decent layering piece if the collar wasn't incredibly uncomfortable. The main issue with this coat is that the sizing is strange. I am 5'11" and 180lbs and wear a large in most items. For this coat, I had to get an extra large and the body fit fine in the shoulders and chest but it barely made my waist. The arms were also too short. I ended up replacing it with a North Face Sentinel that was much better.

This is my primary winter hat. It is windproof and the fabric is very soft and comfortable. It also does a good job of wicking moisture away from my head.

The downside is that it could be a little longer. It doesn't quite cover the tips of my ears, which can be a problem when it is really cold. Other than that, I haven't found a better hat.

I bought these to try out the barefoot style after having several friend rave about it. The fit of the shoes was good but they didn't quite live up to the hype. I could never get comfortable trail running in them because the soles are so soft that you feet every rock and root. I would wind up with bruises on the bottoms of my feet after even short runs. I do wear them casually now and they work pretty good for that. The Gore-Tex might be a little overkill for this type of shoe. The sides are so low that it wouldn't help with stream crossings but might work in damp grass.

These are the best ski gloves I have ever found. They do a great job keeping my hands warm even in extremely cold conditions. They have been very durable and look almost new after a full year of use. The only downside is that there is no removable liner so they take longer to dry if the inside gets damp. Overall, I love them and will be looking for another pair of Hestra gloves.

This is my go to jacket for summer when I need to be prepared for thunderstorms or cool temperatures. It compliments my Beta AR which I use in the fall, winter and spring.

The fabric is so light it feels like you aren't wearing a hardshell. The pockets are well placed and keep the weight light.

I am 5'11" and 180lbs and a large fits well.

I wore these shoes for over a year for everything from day to day use to hiking to trail running. The durability was great and I loved that they kept my feet dry without sweating. I would still be wearing them but the sole at the heal work through.

They fit true to size and width.

The problem is I can't find the color I had in my size anywhere.

I have used these for winter mountaineering and backcountry skiing. The fabric is thin but has been really durable when skiing through the trees. I really like the pockets on the bid for storing small items.

The only issue I have with the pants is that the cuffs are really tight around my ski boots. On the bright side, no snow gets in.

I am 5'11" a 180lbs with a 34" waste and a large fits good.

This jacket never leaves my pack in the fall, winter and spring. It is a little too heavy for summer so my Beta SL goes with me instead.

It has served me well for everything from backpacking to backcountry skiing. The outer fabric is extremely tough yet it still breaths well. The three pockets are the perfect amount without adding too much weight.
