Thanks. I put the contis back on the rear to replace the hutchinson fusion 2's I'd worn out and didn't get the same cornering I was used to. I barely missed wiping out on a down hill section and somehow managed to do a fixie style skid to straighten out. The sidewall tear was tiny so I put it back on. It feels like the tire itself had already flattened out after a handful of rides. Unfortunately, I did not buy this one from RC and it's been a while.

Like you say, it may have been a lemon, but I'll be switching back to Hutchy's. I'm not much of a speed demon, so I don't mind the extra weight/rolling resistance.

Didn't really get a chance to try these out. I don't know how to give a review without giving stars, so I'll just stick with three.

I'm used to riding with Pearl Izumi Bibs, which fit me very well in a medium. I've been doing longer rides lately (75+ mi) and wanted bibs with more support/compression. The bib material was comfortable, the chamois seems sturdy, soft and not bulky. The inseam is much longer than I'm used to. The edges of the bands at the bottom reached the top of my knee caps. I have a 30 inseam (5'8''+ with huge thighs and a badonka donk). I was advised by RC gear dude that the small would be about the same length.

Stay away if you have short legs like me.

Great jacket. I usually wear it as a vest to be seen, but it works well as a wind breaker. I haven't tried it out in heavy rain (I have a rain jacket for that), but it works moderately well in mist or drizzle.

The only complaint I have with this jacket is that it stinks after wearing it a couple of times - I guess I'm just spoiled by wool.

Maybe it's just me, but I always forget how to put the sleeves on.
