i have to say,i've been a mavic fan for MANY years,i have sets of the 729s,823s and deemaxes..nothing comes close to the deemax for all out DHing and racing...i probably have over 90 days of racing and all day riding on my newest deemaxes, and they have stayed true .....that says A LOT for a wheel !!!!!!! ...yeah, they cost a bit but they are totally worth every penny...that's no B.S.....

ihave used this tent for many ,many nights up on the presedentials in n.h.this winter, and has withstood snow (and ice storms) and winds up to around 80 mph,and has been GREAT..light,has a small footprint, and very easy to set up...the only small issue is the rain fly which is a bit short, but has'nt been an issue for me..i'ts great for one person with winter gear, but you can use it for two if you want to get real cozy !!!!!!!

I was caught in a Central Alberta (Canada) hail storm. We were camped as a group after doing the MS150. A terrific hailstorm came in and all the tents were evacuated. When we were allowed to return, most tents were damaged; anything from being flattened to having holes torn in them. My Spire 2 did not suffer from any damage. Only complaint I might have had was that I was in a bit of a hollow and there was some water in the tent. Perhaps .5 of a cup. There was also a bit of hail that had made it under the fly. In comparison with the Wal-mart specials - Nirvana!
