Good jacket in terms of style, fit (although sleeves run long) and warmth. However, the material isn't durable. My first one ripped. Backcountry replaced it. Second one ripped after roughly 10 ski days. Backcountry was great and offered to replace with something else. BTW, only used the frontside so no trees, etc. Now, my problem is what to get for me t year. I prefer something insulated but I'm just not sure.

Bought this about a month ago and have used the past three ski weekends. Have had problems with my glasses fogging up. Tried various OTG goggles and even regular goggles with prescription inserts and nothing worked. So far, they've worked great. The fan won't work at cold temps without lithium batteries, but to my surprise they've been working great even when I don't turn the fan on. In fact, I haven't bothered the last 3 ski days. Makes me wonder if I should have bought the version without the fan.

Just bought this for the extra lens that came with my I/OX turbo fan goggle. Unfortunately, it's too small for the lens. The case only comes in one size. Very disappointing. The lens will stay inside and the. Case will close, but the lens sticks out some. Will probably return it if I can find a better option.

Nice looking coat and warm which is what I wanted. The outer membrane seems fragile and the inner more so. After less than 5 ski days, all mellow with no traumatic events, noticed small tear in the inside hood area. Not what I expected in terms of durability from what is spoked to be a premium technical ski brand. Have not been able to get anybody from Backcountry to talk to me about, so disappointing on that level as well.

Have had my eyes on these gloves for 2 years and finally pulled the trigger. Normally ski in Swany's but my fingers occassionally get cold. Wanted something super warm since I'm going to JH this January. Skied with them on Sunday and temperature was only 29 degrees. No warmer than my old Swany's. Fingers got cold at the tips just the same. Can't say it's worth the premium pricing.
