Went from a 70mm Thomson MTN Elite stem....pretty much best thing on the market to this 50mm just to make the little bike feel more like the DH rig. Totally did the trick. Actual stem weight with greased face-plate bolts is 147grams...totally comparable to any high-end AM/Trail stem including a 50mm Thomson. THe 50mm definitely looks better than the 65mm, and I don't think I'll ever ride anything longer than a 60mm ever again. At Chainlove $26 price you CAN NOT go wrong. This is an $80 stem and is timeless. Also, perfectly matches my Sunline V1 OS 745mm bars. Perfect width for trail bikes...anything narrower and you're probably slower than me.

The Evolution was the first ultra sick MTB helmet by GIRO back in the late 90's for $130. The E2 replaced the Evolution. Then they started doing the XEN series and the E2 was replaced by the super Euro looking XC lid the Athlon. The XAR is if the E2 and the XEN had a baby, but better cuz the ROC LOK 5 is the best ever. Giro took a page from Bell's book with this one! @$64 I got mine for bro-deal pricing! STOKED. Chainlove and Hucknroll kicks ass!

I got my first pair of these back in 2006! Before then I'd been riding hard-shell knee/shin pads that always slipped down and never fit the way body armor should. Simply put these pads revolutionized leg protection in mountain biking. Every company now has a version of these pads! My original pair are still going strong as only 20% of my riding is DH, but at this price I couldn't not buy a new pair. $24 is below wholesale.
