This is a great hybrib between a glove and a mitten. They are warm like a mitten, but are much more dexterous.
They seem well made and durable with functional hardware and a trim fit.
Where they really shine for me is winter mountain biking. My hands get horribly cold on the downhills, and this seems to be the only hand-wear to prevent this and still allow one finger break modulation.
I think they will also be great for backcountry skiing when dinking with skins and zippers, and are even nimble enough to put in a screw or clip a beaner. The liner glove has a warmer pocket, which seems like a good idea, but I haven't needed it so far.
