I have three pair of these and have worn them every single day since I got them a year ago. So soft and comfortable. From Texas summer heat to sub-zero Colorado mountain tops, nothing is better. Tried wearing a pair for 6 days straight once to test the merino. No stink!
I'm 6' 185lbs. Large is very comfortable. Not athletic-snug. Just a super-comfy pair of boxer-briefs. Great length too.
Can you tell me what the waterproof and breathability ratings are?
Just got these shorts in the mail. They look like great shorts. Almost everything I was hoping for except for one little thing: it's not a removable liner! You'd have to permanently cut the sewn loops just to get the chamois out! I have no idea how they can advertise this as a removable liner. By that logic, I could cut the liner out of some swim trunks and call them shorts.
Otherwise, the sizing is accurate, the quality seems good and the materials are nice. A little long for my taste. I'm 6'0" and they run over my knees, rubbing whenever I bend my legs. That makes them a less than ideal biking, hiking or lifestyle short, but that's a bit of personal preference.
Ochre = cool color. a tinge of green in a nice yellow.
Fit = odd. Tight in the neck, wide in the mid section. Not that I expect that much from a cheap t-shirt, but the fit in the neck is enough to warrant sending it back. Too bad. I really liked the shirt.
If you don't know about merino wool, then don't bother to comment here. All natural fabrics that never stink can never be compared to a poly fiber that will make you smell like a commune hippy after a hard day out. This thing is amazing. Super thin and extremely soft (for wool). I wish i would have ordered more than one.
This is by far the best sock i have ever worn. Incredibly comfortable, warm, regulates temperature perfectly, etc. My only complaint is with the construction of one of the footpads. While one sock works perfectly, the other wants to bunch up in the arch of my foot. Could just be me, could just be this pair. I have to say that they are so good I find myself doing whatever I canto make it work. That says a lot, right?
Guys, look closely. These are definitely not what they seem. Even as women's glasses they are on the odd side style-wise. I can't imagine what kind of face you'd have if these fit you well. the nose pads are more than 2/3 down on the glasses. Guy or girl, try them out at a store before you order. They aren't for everyone.
