I got this beacon a few months ago..in an upgrade from my F1 to do the level 1...everyone else had the Pulse and in every search test my 3+ was the fastest with single and multiple burials, And I didn't even had time to practice with it, i just read the manual and start using it. (which means its very very easy to use) One day tho...i saw this little piece of the inside plastic just peeled off, like an air bubble, it didn't affect its performance, i just found that weird, maybe the excess humidity accumulated when skinning up.. who knows...it says it can resist moisture and splashes.

Yes, i got these bad boys with Barons, with these bindings they can be a bit heavy but really stable, make sure u find the proper skins....i couldn't find the pre-cut skins so i got G3's, the skis work great in deep pow and icy crust...go for it.

I used this pack three times with the full capacity in 8 to 10 hrs trekking and it works great...the costum molding is not that espectacular as they show...but it can fit your hips very good, the only thing could be the lack of side compressors and the back side of your head can be a bit uncomfortable with the pack at his full capacity, don't need to throw when you want to take a 10 min rest, it can stand just perfect, great capacity don't need to wear anithing on the outside, every can fit in there and im the one who like to travel with everything (stove, summit pack, cooking set, jackets, food, climb gear, sleep pad n bag, bottles, and i can keep going) everything fit fine in there and i don't need to hang things on the outside like a boy scout. totally recomended !
