Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I like long cardigans and have many of them, so I wasn't sure if I needed another one, but as soon as I touched this cardigan I fell in love with the fine wool material. As I tried it on, I got to like it even more, because the pocket design was unique and the length was perfect looking stylish and keeping me warm (I'm 5'4").

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'm 5'4, 105lbs and almost always get size xs for any brand including Marmot.
However, after reading reviews on this particular item, I ordered both xs and small and tried them over different layers underneath.
I was able to wear a thick fleece jacket under xs, but for better mobility and versatility, I decided to keep the small and am glad I did.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I'm 5'4, 105lbs and got this jacket in xs when a discontinued color was on sale.
This is a well built, nice, warm jacket.
The sleeves are long enough but the torso is a bit too short for me. If I go for a size up it'll look too bulky overall.
What I don't really like about this jacket is so many people have one, especially in black or gray. There was one occasion where four out of seven people had this jacket.
I'm glad I haven't met anyone wearing the same color as mine, but if I have to spend over $100 on this I'd get a different model.

I am 5'4" and 107 lbs. I ordered this Avenue coat in Graphite Gray in size XS and I just loved it!!

I buy everything from North Face in XS and this coat fitted me perfectly as always. The sleeves are made a little but long, but just long enough to fully cover your arms as a top layer and not too long at all.

There are thicker and warmer down coats out there in the market, but this one did a good job for me even when I went out to the dog park and stayed there for an hour in the middle of the winter in Illinois. On a really chilly day you just need to layer your clothes and wear warm bottoms and insulated boots to stay warm.

I wore this coat almost every day this winter, leaving behind my favorite mouton coats at home which I used to wear daily.
