Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: Runs large
Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 160 lbs
Size Purchased: M/M

Great feel to the Peak II pants and the zip off legs are a bonus. I do have a problem with the sizing. All other brand pants I wear between a 33 or 34 waist. I purchased these in a M/M size. First off according to the size chart the inseam is suppose to be 32. I measured the inseam and it's a definite 31 with the pant leg pulled tight. They did look a bit short when wearing them. According to the size chart these are a 32 - 34 in the waist. They are more like a size 35 - 36 in the waist. I've now decided to purchase a S/LONG just to see how they fit. I will comment further once I've tried them on for fit. -----

EDIT: Just tried on the S/Long. The inseem measured 33" with the leg pulled tight. According to the chart they are suppose to be 35.5". The waist is just about right. In comparison They fit the same as a pair of Levis 559 in a 33 x 32. I've decided to now purchase other colors (again) in the size S/LONG.

Since my first purchase of the Arc'teryx Palisade shorts in 2014 I was impressed with their feel and light weight. This year so far I have purchased an additional three pair. They do however run on the small side. For comparison I purchased the size 34 and most fit perfect.
Where as the Arc'teryx Rampart shorts in a size 34 are loose in the waist by about 1 to 1 1/2 inches. The same with my old Levis and Wrangler Jeans which I wear a size 32. I plan to purchase more as new colors come out.

Just a note. There is about a half inch difference in the waist between the pairs of Palisade shorts I own. The black pair is slightly tight where as the Wrought Iron is a little loose in the waist
