Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: Runs large

Great product all as advertised is true. Runs a tad big and for sure long on the sleves and waist. If you plan on wearing this t-shirt under another short sleve like a polo or any shirt not tucked in then you should buy a size smaller than the shirt you want to wear this under. Would have been a five star if not for the larger than normal sizing and long sleves and waist lengths.

The Sole are way better than Superfeet, if you need more arch support. You can't tell from Backcountry's material information but they have a rigid arch that does not flex so it supports as it should. Also the Sole does NOT squeak after months of use like the Superfeet do. This is a plus if you are using them in your "public" shoes like for job or grocery shopping (Superfeet squeak so loud people stop and look). I have a second pair of Sole that my orthopedic surgeon altered with a heel and forefoot wedge to correct a biomechanical problem now I run pain free, daily, and the Sole have lasted a year of running in them, about 1000 miles so far, with no loss of comfort.

The Blue Superfeet have less arch support than the green, but also makes them better when you need to put them in a slim shoe such as dress shoes. I actually got these for putting in cowboy boots that had no support and now they feel great! I tried my existing pair of green Superfeet in the boots first but that added too much volume so the blue was the way to go. The black Superfeet are also listed as being for dress shotes but they have a cleat like bottom that would have damaged the insides of my boots so again, blue.

Excellent product with a poor design! After a few months they begin to squeak, endlessly squeak so loud the are not wearable in public. I wore mine in my work/day shoes, so the noise was an issue. They squeak on carpet, they squeak on tile, they squeak on concrete, they squeak on asphalt, they squeak on grass, they squeak so loud people want to kick your a*s. You can however put baby power (corn starch) under your superfeet to stop the squeak, but I don't care to have to do more work to make a product work, they should just work. I have sinced moved onto Sole which have a better arch and never squeak. But ending on a postive note, if not for the squeak this is a five star product, durable, effective, kept my feet happy.
