As a climber and a yogi, I find these pants to not only be incredibly flattering, but ridiculously comfortable as well. The wide waist band does not cut into the skin and lays flat no matter how you're moving. I have been a large fan of patagonia and prana pants before and find that their cotton blend is breathable, but you can always see the sweat lines on them. With these, the nylon blend is a nice, thicker material.
That being said because they're a bit thicker, I found that hiking and climbing in the heat, they did not breathe nearly as much as I would have liked them too. That is my only complaint on these pants.
I am 5'2" and 105lbs with athletic legs and the xs fits perfectly.
I have been wearing Petzl harness since I started climbing 7 years ago. They are simplistic, lightweight, and very durable: all things that I found true in the Selena Harness.
HOWEVER, the gear loops are uselessly small on this harness. I can not fit a full sport rack with anchor gear easily, if at all on this harness. The rear loops are even smaller. I laughed even thinking about trying to fit my trad rack on it.
Big bummer, as it's really comfortable and would make for a nice gym harness.
A few of my climbing girlfriends recommend these for me, as I have a super narrow foot and even more narrow of a heel (size 6.5-7). These shoes are extremely comfortable, I chose to go a whole size smaller and that size was perfect. The only problem was that they were too wide for my foot and my heel could come out of them when cinched down tight (even though my toes were crammed into the box). I am trying scarpa, as they seem to run super narrow.
I have the older style Luna harness and loved it, that is until I recently purchased the new model. It is not only more efficient (single sided double-back model), has a haul loop, is still super comfy, but is ridiculously light. I am 5'2"/115lbs. and have gymnasts thighs. The small is an ideal fit even with layers.
