Got these and immediately took them on a 4-day 30-mile backcountry trip that turned into a rain, hail, and mudfest. They performed admirably. Feet were completely dry during the downpour until I stepped into a creek and went over the tops. Good non-clogging lugs on the soles, easy lace system, stiff enough on the bottom to prevent bruising, but flexible enough not to need much breaking in. No blisters after 3 days of heavy lifting, with a 50-pound pack. These are my new favorite go-to shoes.
