The Izzi pants are definitely a staple piece! I use them for just about everything- climbing, snowboarding, casual wear, yoga, hiking, etc. The sizing is normal, I'm 5'8" and size 12 pants and the Lg works almost perfectly (they are a little bit long but I threw them in the dryer and they came out perfect).

My only warning- don't wash them with fleece- the fleece pills and is almost impossible to get off the wool pants!

Usually, I'm a huge Patagonia fan but this jacket has done nothing but annoy me!

This jacket is good as a layer (it's warm, it's easy to pack, great mobility, sizing is spot on, and it stays warm when wet). Unfortunately, the fabric is extremely delicate and the stitching comes apart easily. I got this jacket to replace my Patagonia micropuff (which had the same delicate fabric poor stitching problem). Despite my best efforts to be extremely gentle on this jacket it's still falling apart after only a few months.

When I first got this jacket I loved it- it's super warm and very light weight. After wearing it for one winter season as an outdoor guide this jacket is practically unusable. The stitching is frayed and the fabric has several tears from minor twig scrapes/etc. My last similar 'micropuff' from a different company withstood the same amount of use and lasted 4 years. this is a bummer patagonia.....

These pants look really cool and they move well- especially for snowboarding. The blue color rocks and they are thinly lined so they are perfectly warm with a pair of fleece pants underneath.

However, within the first two hours of wearing them, I caught the fabric on a stick and it ripped the pants open. After they ripped I could feel how fragile/thin the fabric was (the twig would not have torn any of my other snowpants!). I'm still wearing them for snowboarding at the resort but no more backcountry.

Sizing- pretty true to my normal patagonia pant size. The rise is perfect- just below the waist.
