Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love the feel of this knife in my hand. It's the perfect size to get into the small places on an animal and also has a versatile blade shape. Holds an edge quite well and the shape of the blade makes it easy to sharpen. The texture on the handle makes it easy to hold on to while your hands are messy during quartering and it really does excel at skinning. The point on the top makes it nice for piercing hide or disarticulating joints. This is the only knife I'll use during the whole dressing process, both elk and deer. I bought this for myself and keep getting it stolen by my husband and his hunting buddy, so I bought them each one! I have small female hands and they have big dude hands and we all like to use this knife.

I'm a regular-sized gal with a regular-sized husband and a 90lb labrador. Will we feel cramped?? Also, the reason I'm looking for a new tent is because the one I have (REI Quarterdome T3) has kind of sucked it up during windy weather. Will this take some wind without staking out every single point?
