Familiarity: I've used it several times

Great headlamp with a lot of different settings. In it's maximum light mode it puts out plenty of light for night hikes. The red light is perfect for hanging around the campsite and making sure that you don't blind your fellow campers or ruin anyone's night vision. Batteries last a long time and I like that it indicates when the batteries are starting to run low. No complaints!

Fit: True to size

I've typically preferred running on trails and beaches but, after a recent move to the suburbs, I decided that it'd be convenient to mix in some road runs as well. Asics have proven to be solid shoes for me for over a decade now so I decided to start there. After doing quite a bit of research, I decided on this shoe and am so glad I did! They are very breathable, and offer a good amount of cushioning and support. But, hands down, my favorite thing about them is how super lightweight they are. They don't slow me down at all, even when I take on hills that would normally have me huffing and puffing. Very happy I picked these up.

Just to echo what's already been said, this is a great bike rack. It adjusts to fit just about any bike, securely locks your bike to your car, and (with an adapter) will fit any roof rack system. Simple, secure, durable system.

This surfboard rack has everything you could want. It locks to the bars and locks in your boards for ultimate security. It quickly and easily attaches to any size/shape bars. It holds two surfboards securely and adjusts to fit different size boards. Sure, it's a bit bulkier than some other surfboard racks out there but it's well worth it. Highly recommended!

I have a pretty extensive collection of Patagonia gear but have found this to be one of my favorite pieces. It is very warm for it's weight, dries quickly, and stuffs down super small when you want to pack it away. It's so small and lightweight that, in cooler weather, it goes with me everywhere.

I've logged away a decent amount of miles on the trail in these shorts and am very impressed. They are lightweight and non-restricive but offer enough length that I don't feel like I'm wearing short-shorts. They allow for extra airflow exactly where you need it and they do a great job of staying out of the way. Nice to have some small pockets on the sides and back for keys, iPod, etc. while running. I've worn these during a few yoga sessions and have been equally impressed with their performance there. Really nice shorts!

These shorts are up for anything. I've taken them hiking, biking, done yoga in them, kicked it on the beach in them. They stay cool when it's hot and have some good stretch to them. I haven't worn them in water yet but the material reminds me of board shorts, so I'm guessing they'd do well with that. My only regret is that I sized up because they seemed tight at first but they ended up stretching. Probably could have just stuck with my usual size.

I like the comfort and look of regular cotton tee shirts but the moisture management of more technical tees. This shirt solves that problem. I can wear it hiking, stand up padding, biking etc and it does great but it looks fine when I'm just hanging out as well. I'll be getting more of these.

Patagonia has perfected their running socks this time around. I've had problems with my toes breaking through these socks in the past but this version seems much sturdier. They are thick enough to add a bit of cushioning while on the run, but thin enough to keep from overheating. The wool/nylon blend keeps things from getting too sweaty. I'll be picking up some more.

I tried this shirt on last year and found the arms to be too long and the overall fit just kind of loose. This year, it fits me perfectly. I'm 6', 165 lbs, and I went with a small. It's soft, plenty warm, and has a cool style. Highly recommend it, but try it on first to make sure you get the right fit

A soft, travel-friendly shirt that looks good as good at the office as it does while grubbing on fish tacos. The cotton/polyester blend breathes well and keeps wrinkles away, but is not as thick as your traditional flannel. I wish the shirt was a tad longer but otherwise, no complaints.
