Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I'll admit, I'm pretty tough on backpack reviews. I bought this to use as a commuter pack, and it fits the bill. I LOVE the easy u-lock pocket in the front, and I like the flap design so that you can really stuff it full. I love the durable material, I feel like I can really put it through the wringer and it will last. It's also much cuter than other commuter backpacks! I sometimes find that "unisex" backpacks are actually for men (or women with long torsos) but this backpack fits my 5'3"frame well.

My only complaint - it's not especially comfortable when heavy. If I have LOTS of stuff in it (gym clothes, gym shoes, work clothes, books, lunch, ulock, jacket, etc), it pulls really hard on the arm straps and it makes my arms feel like their going numb. This is obviously remedied by not over-stuffing it, and I usually don't have that far to go, so it doesn't come up often. Again, I'm tough on backpacks, and this would probably happen with most.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with it.

I bought these for running because I'm tired of my earbuds falling out all the time, but these are about the same. They fall out just as much as my cheap-o ones, if not more. If I hadn't bought them cheap on S&C, I would return them.

Otherwise, they sound fine. They just didn't actually "fix" my problem. Also - they don't say which is for the right and left ear, but I found that they fall out equally no matter which way I put them in. I will be forever indebted to whoever actually solves this problem!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Here is what I wanted - a warm, functional boot that was more stylish than Uggs. I'm not above Uggs (I've owned and loved them in the past!), I just wanted something a little more "grown up". These TOTALLY fit the bill.

They are very warm and comfortable with great tread, without having the bulky-ness of other winter boots. I'm still nervous about how waterproof they are, because I read reviews that said they weren't. I've got them wet before and they were fine, but never in real pouring rain or slushy snow. I bought waterproofer for them just in case.

Another bonus? I have huge calves and these totally fit my leg. What can I say, I love Crossfit, but it makes it hard to buy boots! :-)

These are some nice looking boots. They look soft, warm, and well-made. Based on other reviews, I was prepared for some funky fitting situations, but I got them on S&C and was prepared to deal with pretty much anything because I wanted them so bad.

Most of the boot fit perfectly, but for some reason the heal is like twice as wide as the rest of the boot and my heal slipped out with every step. It was really weird because the rest of it fit very well (just a little snug, which is good because I know they stretch) but I couldn't get over the heal thing. I was really disappointed. It seems like a really weird way to make boots, because I can't imagine what type of foot that would fit.

These should definitely be tried on in a store before buying online.

I've been using this as my daily purse since I bought it on S&C about 6 months ago. It's held up well to wear (I really do use it everyday) and has all the features that I want. The pattern is pretty, and it has a functional pocket design (instead of those bags that just have a million little pockets).

I did think it was going to be a little bigger when I bought it, more like a messenger bag style, but it's really more of a purse. That worked out fine for me because I needed a purse anyway. I love it and will definitely buy more Haiku products.

I wouldn't recommend this jacket for skiing. It's very thin (feels somewhat cheaply made) and lacks the features that most of us would require for a ski jacket (for instance, the pockets are velcro only, no zippers!). There isn't very much insulation, it feels very thin. It may be good for casual outdoor activities, but it wouldn't work well for skiing.

The only positives were that it's very bright (I love things that aren't duller once you see them in person!) and the fit was accurate. Unfortunately, because it won't be able to stand up to my ski habit, I'll be returning it.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

This thing isn't fooling around. It's huge. And wicked comfortable. Possibly the most impractical sleeping pad ever made, but if you're car camping, this will change your life. I've been suffering through with my teeny tiny backpacking sleeping pad while car camping for years, but when space and weight don't matter, this thing is incredible. More comfortable than my mattress.

I'm pretty in love with this thing. It's my first down bag, so I was a little skeptical, but it's perfect for the price. I took this camping at the base of Quandary Peak (Colorado 14er) in May and I had to wear layers, but I didn't freeze to death! The majority of camping I do for the summer isn't in as extreme conditions, and it works great. Incredibly soft and comfortable. I know I could have gotten better if I was willing to spend double, but for the price you really can't beat this thing.

As a petite women, this was definitely a bad fit for me. The straps seem designed for a man, so I'll be returning it. I have a short torso, so maybe a taller women would have better luck. I didn't knock too many stars off because it seemed really well made and I loved the amount of space - just enough for a sandwich and keys. If it had fit, I would have kept it in a heartbeat.

This thing is great! I'm normally skeptical of cross-body bags because they always sit on my hips funny, but this thing is great. It has tons of pockets (I love pockets!) and is very functional while being super cute at the same time. I was a little bummed because I thought it was going to be bigger, more messenger bag style, but really it's just a medium-sized purse, which is fine. All in all - I totally love it.

They're super comfortable and look awesome. I have wicked big feet and I can't usually wear cute shoes, but these are seriously great. I got a little bigger than what I would consider my normal size (in my experience Danskos run small) and they are a little roomy, but not too much.

They have a really weird fit to them. I know that you have to spend some time with the straps to get it on your foot properly, but I couldn't seem to get the side straps adjusted so they didn't rub on my little toe. Ended up returning them, which was a shame because I thought they looked really cool, but I just couldn't get them to fit.
