Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is an awesome rescue vest. Purchased for use in a swift water rescue course. Good floatation, great all-day comfortable fit, nicely adjustable.
A few things I would change: the front mesh pocket (while great for beverage holding) is setup as a sort or scoop and is more or less useless without being able to be zipped or closed or secured. Next: location of the knife clip is awful. Lost my co-pilot knife on the first strainer drill (you pull yourself up and over a log in the river), also, imagine trying to pull yourself back into a raft with a knife there to catch (same story with that mesh pocket). The knife is now zip-tied to a shoulder strap. The zippered pocket is awesome and big enough to keep prusiks and pullies.

Well, I demoed this board for two days on Big Bear Mountain in Cali, and absolutely fell in love. I usually ride a Never Summer Heritage a bit long at 161cm. I rode the 153cm TRice HP and was blown away. Lets start with stability: it charges down the mountain like a charm, as another reviewer said: it will go into autopilot if you let it and even at high speeds over chop recovers nicely. Relatively easy to turn for Rocker-Camber combination, with a great edge on pretty much anything. Nicely flexible for landing jumps.
Didn't get to try it in powder, but if I end up owning one, I will let you know how that goes.
Can't say I've ever been a fan of Lib-Tech art but I would've swallowed that to take this board home with me.

Well, the good: Great fit, not baggy, not too trim for layering, slightly longer in the waist, great durable fabric feel, easy to use vents.
The best: the wrist gaiters, absolutely fool-proof way to keep snow from getting into your gloves or up your sleeves.
The meh: the "soft-shell" gore-tex is not much warmer than than a proshell and is not as windproof. All indications point to really good breathing though.
The bad: the pockets: the hand/breast pockets are only accessible when the vents are open, so with the vents closed you have two zippers to go through to get to the contents... Also, no, stash pockets, never realized how much I enjoyed those little mesh pockets that are so handy for holding a hat or gloves until they no longer existed. The sleeve pass/radio pocket is fine, but not big enough for most radios, they do include a credit card sized elastic pocket for your pass within the pocket which is a nice thought.

Well, I feel sorry for my friends, because each one I run into has to listen to me gush about these for at least ten minutes. My first Norraa purchase, super impressed. Lets sum up, these are loose for easy movement but not at all baggy, the cuffs are fitted enough that you don't have to worry about walking on them (even while wearing tennies) yet wide enough to easy fit over my snowboard boots. The super gnarly cuff guard material goes full round the bottom of the cuff for added confidence. As others have mentioned, the rest of the fabric feels tough without being overly heavy, the pockets are perfect, not too big, not at all small, and the right one has an internal elastic pocket for a beacon (though sadly no attachment point for the tether. The bibs are not as tight as the OR vanguard version I tried before this (which felt like a corset). Only two things would make this pants better, thin knee and butt pads (what can I say, I'm a snowboarder), and vents with mesh, rather than the almost full side zips that these have.
That said, after searching for the perfect pants forever, these are by far the closest I've found.

First, love the beehive color.
Second, great fit (5'9" 150 lbs) Medium is great, enough room for layers under, but not baggy.
Third- Super light: lighter, thinner, and more packable than my fleece!
Forth- warm! Wore this out three days ago on San Antonio (temps around 18) was comfy with only a long sleeve synthetic T-shirt underneath and a hard-shell (no insulation) over top. Great thing was, that unlike the fleece that this replaces I never got hot. Again, wasn't cold when I paused for snacks, and wasn't too warm when I started off again.

these are absolutely fantastic mitts. Solidly waterproof so far as I can tell (though you'll not frequently choose to use theses when it's warm enough to have any moisture). Super Warm. Let me say that again: Super warm. These are the mitts you'll want to have in anything below 10deg F. Durable leather palm. Easy to put on and take off over a liner glove. Don't expect any sort of function in your hands other than gripping trekking poles or axes though.

About sizing: I usually wear a medium in gloves and mitts, in these, extra large fits well over a very thin liner glove. I agree that they are a bit tight in the "thumb crotch" though.
