Familiarity: I've used it several times
This is my second pair of these gloves. The first pair I bought about 2 years ago but left in Europe, so I needed to buy these to get me through a Chicago winter. The fit is good, although, I had to up-size to a medium, as the small was just too tight. I'm 5'7" and have small hands, but the men's small seemed sized for a women's hand. The medium is a good, comfortable fit, so it may be that OR's sizing runs small. The rubberized padding is great for extra grip while driving or shoveling, but I noticed that a layer of the rubberized grip is already coming off after only a month. It still works, but it seems like this shouldn't be happening. The warmth factor is good for an all around winter glove. For long exposures on a really cold or windy day, you'll want a shelled glove or mitten, but these are my standard go-to gloves for getting around in the winter.
