Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is my second Magnetron (my first got swiped). The new matte black finish looks great so keep an eye on yours! I use this locker to belay in the gym. Super-safe. I took my first one on a couple of trad outings. It worked great but I didn't like getting it all scratched up. The release levers are probably a bit hard to manipulate with gloves so I don't use it for ice climbing.

Great shoe but wore out fast!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 4"
Weight: 125 lbs
Size Purchased: 38

After 2 months of moderate use the soles delaminated in the front. Otherwise, a good shoe.
More info: These are my 18yo daughter's shoes. She used them about 2x/week at the gym and on a 4 day trip to RRG. She said the delamination started fairly early on.

Rant: Am I the only one who can't figure out the colors and corresponding sizes?
- My yellow ones are about 22" long (56cm)
- My old blue ones are about 44" long (112cm)
- My new blue one is about 46"long (117cm)
WTF? This isn't anywhere close to the lengths listed above. This stuff doesn't stretch or shrink!! And the options box offers 3 different blue slings in various lengths! The Mammut site is pretty worthless. The only way I could figure it out is based on price.
Shopping aside, these are really good slings. Strong, light, thin, durable. Just use them appropriately (no knots, no PAS) and wash 'em when they get dirty.

Think about what you will use this biner for. My other lockers are large (Petzl William) so I wanted some smaller, lighter ones for trad and sport.
Like: High quality, light weight, red stripe, easy to handle.
Don't like: The threads are too smooth (easy to flick open/close accidentally), Not round (adds too much friction when using with a belay device in "guide mode").
Overall, they are OK for my needs, but I don't love 'em. I wouldn't carry just these biners.
