Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

For those looking for a lightweight, flattering sweater to wear alone or layer, this is it! Super soft, with a great neckline (not constricting) and plenty of sleeve length, absolutely perfect coming into spring and great to hit the chilly nights with a jacket. I purchased the Seafoam, and the blue/mint color combination is right-on together! One caution: this sweater runs small and on the SHORT side--my recommendation..size up one size. I was hoping for something a little longer that would hang slightly loose around the hips with my skinnies but it comes more to the top of my hips (I'm taller but generally don't have an issue with length). Getting a larger size will help the length issue only marginally (but without adding extra bulk-- remember this is perfectly lightweight!). If length is not an issue, you won't regret adding this to your collection! (Throw the ever-popular button down under this and length will never be mentioned). Dress up for a night out or grab one of Backcountry.com's killer trucker hats for some fun with your besties! (5 Stars all the way, minus 1 & 1/2 for length and small size).

If you're looking for the perfect longer length tank with a switch on the classic racer back, look no further! Comfortable, not clingy, and the asymmetrical hemline is total fun. I wear it with leggings or skinny jeans, cool days I add a lightweight sweater or hoodie. The fit is pretty true to size. I'm 5'10" and wear size medium, and the top has plenty of length; but, since it's comfortably longer by design, I wouldn't hesitate to grab one, no matter my height. I will wear this year round!

I bought these because I was done with wet, soggy, feet. Love winter, not wet feet and they do the trick. I was concerned about breathability and comfort. More cush on the sole than expected; very comfy. As for breathable, this isn't your wick-away-moisture boot but does just great unless you are prone to sweat alot or you are in temps that warm up considerably. But for everyday cold winter and sloshy wet, these are perfect! And, the compliments keep coming on looks and style! Be sure to size down one size as they run large. I gave them a 5 star because, even though they are not top on the breathability chart, that's not why I purchased them. They deliver where expected.

This item far exceeded y expectations. Such a simple thing that can do so much. Sure it can be used as a gator, scarf, headband, beanie, hairband, balaclava (for those gnarly storm days under the helmet) and more; the fabric is ultra soft (makes up for any jacket that neglected to put the fleece chin protection liner in hood and collar); best of all, it really works! Thin but kept the wind out and the bite off. Very breathable too. I love that you can adjust the coverage from minimal to max! Best investment, highly recommend always having at least one if not ten in the gear duffle bag.

I agree with what's been said so far on this jacket. North Face stepped up to the plate when designing this higher-end lightweight shell. It's longer length with ample sleeve length gives great coverage and the thin but very technical fabric with it's attention to detail (sealed seams, zippers, etc.) is top-notch. Not necessary to size up for coverage and layering. (side-note, the Brooke Blue color is beautiful!)

Wow! Pleasantly surprised when I got this jacket. I have other softshell jackets and Patagonia hit it right and takes the prize with the Adze Softshell Jacket. The fabric is light and flexible with one of the more comfortable linings you can get, all with the windblock and protection they promise. As far as fit and cut, they've nailed it again. The sleeve length is generous and the cut is a flattering regular fit without being boxy. I'm between sizes so I went up and by doing so there was plenty of room. If you plan to do a bit of layering go up in size; if layering is light or this is just a quick go-to jacket to battle the elements for an errand, and you're between sizes like me, then getting the smaller size will work too (that way great for layering UNDER another outer layer too!) Love it for sure!

love this jacket, lightweight as compared to the Ino jacket (which is more heavy-duty and a longer fit) but tends to run slightly small to regular fit at best. If you're in between sizes, I'd suggest going bigger. Once again though, Armada has put another sweet and quality jacket out there.
