Familiarity: I've used it several times

My first real pair of cycling socks and they are quite nice. Have only worn them in the spring but on cold days and warm days, they work for both. I like that they match my shoes (Giro Sica Women's in Black/Teal). They're also available in ankle cut, which is great for a bit less of a tan line. Yes, I'm a woman and I care about tan lines, ok!? :)

Value for money? Yup! Very much worth it and I love a good sale.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is a super lightweight shoe, very comfortable and stiff sole. I am happy that I got this shoe for the upcoming race season, but I will also keep my old shoes around for normal riding. I am not impressed with the "traction lugs" (tread). I've used the shoe twice- once for a practice ride and once for a race. The race did include a very steep 20 minute walk up a hill and now two front tread teeth are pretty much worn through. For the price of the shoe, I would expect the tread to last longer than two rides.

Also, the sizing is wack. I recommend trying on a Giro shoe in person, before buying online. As someone else also mentioned, I'm a 7.5 and normally a 39 for cycling shoes, but had to go all the way up to 40 for these, but I have a bit of wiggle room (which I like for MTB shoes, so I can fit a toe warmer).

Value for money? Eh... I feel like I'm going to have to buy a new pair of shoes in a few months or just continue to use my old ones. I'll keep these for racing only, since they don't seem like they'll survive the 3-4 days of normal riding that I do per week. Recommendation to Giro- if you're going to make a shoe with such a poor tread, then please make the tread replaceable like Sidi.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are a decent pair of gloves. I ordered the light green color, since green is my favorite color. I wish I had just ordered black because after the first ride they looked super dirty-- they were covered in mud and dust which really shows on lighter colors. They do wash up alright, have just thrown them in the washer with all my bike clothes and air dried them. I wouldn't recommend putting them in the dryer since they have gel palm inserts. Overall, I am satisfied with the fit and quality of the glove. I will buy these again.

Value for money? Yes, but next time will order in a dark color so that they don't look as dirty.
