This jacket is fantastic and exactly what I was hoping for - something that isn't too bulky but will keep me warm. I am 5'7"/125 and athletic and the small fits very well (maybe just a little loose in the waist but with layers, just fine). I love the wrists - they are a durable stretchy material that allows seamless glove coverage. I got black because it goes with everything and doesn't show stains. Definitely the best quality jacket that I own.

I have been a NF girl for years and was really disappointed by this jacket. Normally, I wear a small in NF - I am 5'7"/125/athletic and was SWIMMING in a small. The interior is really fuzzy and this jacket is just WAY too overpriced. I currently have a NF Apex Bionic jacket in a small and that fits me just fine. There are a lot of mixed reviews on this jacket. I returned it.

I have the Arcteryx Atom SV hoody and absolutely love it. This jacket appears more sleek and modern looking in the photo than it is in reality. The fabric is THIN, REALLY THIN as in no insulation. This is a very pricey piece and I was disappointed in the unlined pockets - they are literally netting - no warm fabric. Although I would say that Arcteryx is top of the line when it comes to outerwear, I really didn't care for this jacket for day to day wear. I currently have a NF Apex Bionic that is much more comfortable (although not as well-made). I am 5'7"/125 and an athlete - a small was much looser than I was hoping for in the torso. I live in northern CA and was looking for a softshell that I could wear on a regular basis. Bottom line for me is that I didn't love it so I returned it.

Let me start by saying that I love Arcteryx. I have the Atom SV hoody and am in love with it. I am 5'7"/125 - a street size 4 and athletic. I purchased this in a small and the sleeves were a bit short (I have long arms and legs) and the Neptune Sky that appears more of a grey tone on the website is rather brown. The pockets are too high for my taste and overall, I found this to be a seriously overpriced jacket for Arcteryx. Also, the entire interior is a fuzzy bright orange color including the interior of the hood. I returned it - too much money for something that I wasn't in love with.

I have searched high and low for a female athlete friendly HRM and watch. I had a Polar FT60 for the past two years but was really unhappy with their website and the fact that a Flowlink component had to be used in order to download your data. I tried the Polar RCX5 but had to return it because the watch was much too big for petite wrists (I am 5'7"/125 with a 5 1/2" wrist). I also didn't like the fact that Polar's foot pods are about 3-4x the size of Suunto's. The HRM chest transmitter for the Suunto Quest is the most comfortable I have ever worn - I forget I even have it on. I have never had a problem with an accurate HRM reading and the watch is fully adjustable so everything fits perfectly. Suunto has a Movestick mini as well so no annoyingly larger dongles to transfer your data. The Movescount website is excellent - my data downloads in less than 15 seconds. Suunto is the way to go if you are a serious athlete! I also tried the T6D but it is dated (2010), requires hardwire data transfer, and is way too large for smaller female wrists. I also tried the M5 but that is geared more toward entry level weight loss goals with structured programs - not for serious athletes. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!
