Love storm days and fresh pow. Doesn't need to be deep, just good! (TWSS)

Awesome ski. The 184 was a little short for me (6'4" 200lbs) but skied super solid in a mix of bullet-proof, crud, and powder. If you like volkl skis, you should like these. Very versatile and a great all-round option for soft-snow days. Will be buying the 191s :-)

Took out 192's. Fun ski, good edge hold on the groomers, not a demanding ski in any wayl. Overall a lot better than i thought they would be. I was probably mounted at +2/+3 and had some tip dive in 6+ inches of pow, but think they would work great in the pow if i had the demo bindings adjusted back further.

Lightweight, waterproof, breathable, etc. etc. etc. Used them in a combination of storm days and spring skiing and found them versatile when paired with the right insulation underlayer. The fit is also great for me - i got XL Long (36x36 in jeans) and the length is great without a super baggy fit. Only thing i would want is another pocket - they only have 1 smallish pocket.

Demo'ed at Vail on shitty hardpack and manmade snow. These things love to rail GS turns at speed. My daily ski is a 2010 mantra and the Kendo has the same classic Volkl feel however feels like a straighter version of the mantra. It doesnt ski as versatile as the mantra (e.g. mantra feels easier to put into different turn shapes) but just loves being on edge and crushing the groomers!

I've got the 2010 mantras in 184. Demo'ed the 2012 mantras in whistler this weekend, also in 184cm. The new ski turns quicker, floats better, and has the same Volkl feel. I dont enjoy taking my old mantras into soft snow but the new one with early rise really is a good all-rounder. Had a great time in mixed conditions ranging from 6"+ to groomers. Skis better and is more versatile... a great upgrade.

2 feet powder shots plus tracked pow at mammoth today. In the untracked stuff it was great. Took a few runs to get the feel for them. On tracked pow it definately takes a little more work but is solid. Also pleasantly surprised that it took a few rock and tree shots without too much damage. Definately going to be my storm & powder day ski!

Took them up to Whistler for a week with everything from 3 feet of fresh to very firm groomers. Good to great for everything except firm-pack with bumps. It would be nice if it was a little softer but a great ski that handled everything. Also tried some Fischer Atuas last year and they were fun but softer and probably wouldn't ski as hard as the Chiefs.
