joshwrote a review of Rome Reverb Rocker Snowboard on January 11, 2013
This is my favorite board in my (obnoxiously large) quiver. I have been on rockers, cambers, pow specific, splits, you name it.... The Rome "tech" does not do this board justice, a multiple camber profile with agressive rocker between the feet and camber from the boots outward (aka mtnpop) coupled with the dual sidecut zones (aka quick rip) which is kinda like the serrated mervin idea but more advanced...
basicly the sidecut is maneuverable and playful at low speed and super stable at high. The place you notice it the most is hard heel side stops on anything steep, its extra braking power... like abs for shredding. There is 1 sidecut for the rocker between the feet and another for the camber full board length... Its like a 2 in 1.
-sintered die cut base
-Super stable at speed over anything in any snow
-Super floaty, the type of board that wants to stay up not dive in deep
that more people don't know about this masterpiece
