Fit: Runs large

Size Purchased: Medium

I got the Nickel/Mogul Blue--it's gray with teal accents--and I love it. Re the sizing... the body of the jacket feels true to size with the regular fit, but the sleeves feel huge on me; the sleeves are a bit wadded all down my arms and bag out around the wrist. That is the only tiny complaint I have. The fleece is nice and thick, and very warm; the jacket comes in fun colors, and I am a sucker for teals or aquas :)

One nice thing I have found with this jacket is there is no internal wind flap(?) underneath the zipper, so nothing to get caught in the zipper or wadded up once jacket is zipped up. I have those on another brand's fleece and I have a flap of 1-2" that always rolls up and doesn't look "neat" when zipped. Patagonia has saved my OCD with this jacket.

Another great fleece product from Patagonia, my favorite fleece brand!

I already own the Tailored Grey/Nickel X-dye/Harvest Moon color and it is bathrobe-snuggly!!! It is just a smidge shaggier than the other Patagonia fleeces I have but this one the Must Wear one. It's nice that the bottom is not tighter--it hangs looser on your hips--so you don't get the mushroom-top look at your waist & hips. It is super warm by itself and uber toasty with a base layer. Love it!! I have the vest version of this too and it is also awesome!

Here's the deal... Some days I feel my age and knees get creaky. And we planned to hike into Pololu Valley on the Big Island on vacation. Since I am not as graceful as you'd think, I wanted trekking poles for a little support on the steep, rocky, muddy trail. And I knew I would use them on many other hikes in Hawaii and at home.

I picked the Leki Legacy trekking poles because Leki is a good brand, the poles were adjustable and could fit in our suitcase, and price was great. They did not disappoint! FWIW they are a pair of left and right handed poles, easily adjustable to the right height, very sturdy, comfy to hold onto--sweaty hands did not slip, and they look great! As we neared the bottom of the trail, a guy coming back up said "Great planning with the poles! Wish I'd thought of that!!" And he grumbled his way back up the trail.

I would definitely recommend even for those flat trail and non-creaky knee days. Wish I had gotten them a long time ago!

This is the warmest little vest I have ever worn, and I don't even notice that my arms aren't wrapped in the same fluffy warmth (I usually wear a long sleeve fleece). I wear it around the house over a thermal/waffle weave shirt. It reminds me of waffle weave but with fleece--soft, comfy, and warm.

The pockets are rather shallow, not for holding a wallet or phone unless you want to lose them. Good for hands only.

Washes really well, and line dries quickly.

I'm 5'5" 130 lbs and the small fits me well.

I was looking for a cute, professional-looking pair of Keens to wear traveling, to customer meetings, be able to run thru airport, walk several blocks in the city, etc. These *looked* the part just fine. Only problem is they cut across the top of my foot (not a plump foot by any means!) and caused bad chaffing and blisters, even wearing pantyhose/very thin socks. Last trip I had to put bandaids across top of my foot--not very professional looking--to keep the chaffing down. After walking around town, I decide these were in fact hateful shoes.

I have many pairs of keen boots and sandals that have no chaffing or pinching--they are great. This is the first pair of keens that I have truly hated--but they look good!! They are already in donation pile.

Most awesome camp chair
5 5

We are avid Jeepers and we needed two camp chairs that were sturdy, compact, light, comfy, and easy to use. These chairs--we affectionately call them "The Larrys"--have been on many trails in Moab and served us perfectly! We fabricated brackets to hold them on inside of my rear door so they are the first thing at hand when we stop for lunch. They are the perfect size for relaxing at lunch or at camp after a long day of jeepin'. Our Larrys are well traveled and well loved!

Darling top, fab patterns, but not as comfy on me as many of my other Prana tops. Armhole cuts close to armpit in the front and seams along the back top tend to roll up and not stay tucked in under the back straps.

8/27/2011 Updating my original comment after a year's worth of use... I swear this top is much hotter and clingier than all my other Prana tops put together. It's not scorching hot out, and I am a sweaty itchy mess from this top. It doesn't breathe like the others, it feels sticky unlike the others, and I am really uncomfortably warm it unlike the others. I am staying with the sabin racerback which fits much better all around and the fabric is much more breathable.

Usually I get annoyed when someone hasn't actually used what they just got, but this is just too nice, AND I have a different take here. Getting ready for a offroad camping trip... handwashed my brother-in-law's MSR all-aluminum pot to pack and got annoyed by the slick handle, and the handle didn't really lock in place, so it kept flopping all over trying to empty it and rinse it out. Trying to dry the claspey-bit on the side was a pain and kept catching the dish towel. I just got my snazzy GSI Dualist Cookset and handwashed it--WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The handle has a nice grippy finish, it LOCKS in place with a squeezy pin--NO FLOPPY HANDLE! When I dumped out the water it did not fold in on me like the other pot! It dried quickly and easily with the nonstick finish--had to be careful of the pins with the dish towel, but it was one little area on one side by the handle. I love the fact that it has a little diagram etched on the side of the pan of how to reassemble it all again. Really a no brainer but a nice touch. Nice strainer lid with a non-metallic tab. The other pot had a tiny metal loop that, I would imagine you'd have to have tongs or an oven mitt to remove the lid. The bowls are just a bonus for me--they are sturdy and washed up nice. So from the "OCD cleaner" point of view, you will not be disappointed by its ease of cleaning and sturdiness of the handle.

Just got the wisteria and wish I had gotten both colors--it is too cute! The white straps are to an internal shelf bra that hugs close. The colored fabric is attached to the bra on each side under the armpits. The colored section can move a little more easily around you while the bra stays put. It is also a nice length, a little longer than some of Prana's other tops. Why are some tops like the Lola--same style, different patterns--longer than others?! Love the Prana fabrics, just wish they had a consistent length, or some code like "purples are always longer than oranges". I love this top--you look like you picked out a cute outfit and it is all one piece! (good for us fashion challenged!) Just got the blue starburst too and it is also too cute for words--love them both!!!

Have to say that I love 2008 prints and HATE 2009 prints. Looking forward to seeing what comes out in 2010. The funky 60's style print matches everything and the fabric is my favorite thing about Prana whatever the style of active top. It is light, no show thru, lightly brushed, soft, not itchy, nice shelf bra, huggy but not too tight... my love goes on. I wear these to yoga, on vacation, and they look great. They launder easily--I machine wash on gentle and hang to dry. They are dry in no time and still look brand new. A friend said they are way too expensive but at the rate they are holding up, not stretching out and still looking great I think it was a great deal!!!

I have the Katie in last year's print--hated this years prints. It matches everything and is super comfy and very flattering. Holds tight when it needs to but doesn't feel like it's choking you either. Loved the brushed fabric Prana uses--at first touch it feels almost thin and flimsy, but with the lined bra top there is zero show thru and it wicks sweat away like nobody's business. Also I was worried about how thin it felt... Had a friend's huge dog jump up and drag her claws down the front of it--I thought for sure it was going to have big pulled or scuffed sections! Nothing!!! You would never know how rough those claws were and how the fabric laughed at it!!! I could not believe it! Top still looks brand new. Love the Prana tops!!!

I have gotten the Lola top in several prints and love them all. Nice coverage and no show through. Brushed fabric feels warm when you need to be warm and sweat evaporates and leaves you feeling less ooky. Nice length to NOT ride up your back in down dog and I don't feel like I'm a free peep show in other poses. Favorite styles are still Sabin Racerback and the Katie top (tank with 2 straps) but Lola is great too.
