I'm always so happy to celebrate when I find pants that fit. I typically wear size 12-14 pants, and the 12's fit with room to spare, especially in the thigh area - which seem to cause me the most problems. The waist probably runs a bit small which made me happy, and the belt worked well to cinch up a bit more. The best does seem to roll, which is a bit of a problem. I ordered the 30" length which was just right for me. The pants wash and wear well and with the gusseted crotch, I've been able to enjoy some extreme hiking and backpacking.

If you have thin legs and/or no rear, I don't think you'll like the fit of these pants.

This bag just didn't breathe sufficiently for me. I'm trading it in for a down version. I was concerned about synthetic just for this reason, but after reading reviews decided to give it a try. But I was always sweaty and cold. I tried it 2x and while I loved the compact size for backpacking, it just wasn't right for me. I love that backcountry.com will take care of this exchange for me and make me happy with a down bag.

These boots are so comfortable. I have both the waterproof and non. I do have to wear 2 pairs of socks as they are just a tad wide. I've worn both pairs of boots with no break in time and no blisters. Before I doubled the socks, I did get two black toe nails from a long descent. I noticed some reviews said they run 1/2 size small, but I'm wearing my size and still have to double sock. They are stable for backpacking and rocky conditions. They are not too stiff and not too flexible. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Over the past 10 years, I've tried lots of different options for rehydrating during long distance cycling and hiking efforts. I have never found anything that transports as well, leaves no aftertaste, is not too sweet, does not upset my stomach, etc. This is the perfect solution. I prefer the lemon-lime flavor. For my water bottles, I use 1/2 a tablet (they break in half easily). Kudos to the inventors of Nuun!
