Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: True to size

I know I'm not skinny, but I'm popping seams. Following the size chart I ordered the Medium. They feel great when on, not too tight, but with basic use and movement the stitches in the waistband and cuffs have already started to bust loose. Other than that I like them.

The straps on the bottom are too short to fit a sleeping bag.
The top pocket is too slim to hold anything if the pack is full.
The adjustable chest straps constantly need to be adjusted.
The pack will not stand up by itself, due to the bottom tapering inward.
The whole thing just pissed me off, from everything falling out of the top pocket when unzipped, to the extra clip of the lid. Really why two? Isn't that why the straps are there?

I love this vest. The only bad thing about it, is that I didn't get it earlier in the season. Someone mentioned the pockets being too low. Not at all. I am short with wide shoulders and chest so were my height calls for a medium if i want to move my arms I have to wear a large, so maybe I'm used to coat and jacket pockets being low. Either way they do not bother me even loaded with stuff and junk.
