Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Love this thing. I always hated wearing a camel pack, but still like to have water on me while riding all day. This vest / flack jacket eliminates a bulkier CP. It has a tons of storage too. The smaller zips on near the shoulders are perfect for your pass on one side, and a pair of shades to wear on beer breaks in the other. The four main pockets can store a flask, snacks, board lock, keys and wallet no problem. Whenever I wear it, I get tons of comments and questions on it. I haven't utilized the shovel straps on the back yet, but only because i don't venture into the backcountry often. (85% of my riding is done at Mammoth)I wear this most days unless it's really dumping and I need my heavier jacket. Other wise I throw it on over a Burton riding hoodie and call it a day. I've also worn it on hikes -it's perfect!
