I debated between these shorts and the Icebreaker GT Dart short. The dart short won. 2 months later, after wearing the dart short most days and impatiently waiting for them to dry on wash days, I got these as a backup. Now that I have both, they each have their use.
These have a looser fit and are perfect for any activity - These are a go-to for me for hiking and running (and always around the house). The dart is preferred when I don't want the excess fabric: climbing, yoga, and short bike rides. They are definitely interchangeable and can comfortably be worn for any activities - I just wore them so often it made sense to have 2 pairs.
The liner/built-in underware was a turnoff for me when I got them, and almost returned them for that reason alone. However, once you have them on it is not noticeable and actually makes them more comfortable since you don't have to worry about any 'surprise reveals' when your're climbing!
My favorite thing about these pants is you can throw on some heels and a nice top and wear it to the office. Additionally, I wear them around the house in cooler temperatures.
They are a fairly relaxed fit (which is why they look great for the office) without a flare. Enough room to comfortably layer with fitted leggings. I am 5'5", 26waist, 38 hips, ordered a small: fit long on me unless I wear fairly high heels with them and pull up the waist; comfortable/relaxed around the waist. Maybe I should have gotten an XS, but I'm just going to get them hemmed and keep them with the 'relaxed fit.'
This skirt rocks! I can't get over the merino fabric, so there's the initial thumbs up. Then there's the versatility of this item. If you want to be more conservative, you can use the full length of the skirt and for a more casual look you can fold over the top to shorten it up a bit (but still enough length to not look promiscuous!). In cooler weather this looks great with black leggings, full length or 3/4. It can easily be warn with a nice top, or dressed down with a tee. My favorite right now (early Nov in Michigan) is wearing it with 3/4 length leggings and a long grey hoodie/sweatshirt.
Did I mention it has pockets? Major bonus!
I am a huge fan of Icebreaker, own a lot of their products, and this item is no exception...kind of.
Super comfortable, relaxed fit, soft material. I am usually a small, but got a medium due to lack of inventory at the time of purchase. Medium is a bit big (small would fit perfectly), but since it's a relaxed fit it still looks nice (sleeves are barely too long). Thumb holes are my favorite! Looks great with jeans or Icebreaker Breeze black skirt.
Downfall: I haven't washed it yet and have only worn it 2 or 3 times. The fabric has already pilled - a lot! So unfortunately this will turn into a fashionable outdoor shirt...
This top rocks!
Sleeves are comfortably long, same with torso length. It is also nicely fitted - very flattering on a slim torso.
I am 5'5", 125#s, average bust (B), small waste, wide hips. The small fits perfect!
I like the midweight over the microweight for colder days. Microweight is great for warmer, Spring days, or cooler, Summer nights (in Michigan). Midweight works perfect for a base/mid layer.
I would wear this every day, if it would automatically wash itself.
