Hello Jeremy,
If you are looking for a great quality watch you are looking at the right company; however, it is a bit expensive but you surely get what you pay for. I have used all models of Harmon, Timex, and Tom tom and found not of them even come close to Suunto's technology. If you want to come up somewhere in between price, performance, and value, check out the Suunto ambit 2 sapphire with HR. Hands down the best watch I have ever know. It still has features I never new about. I keep calling the technical support line to help me figure out all it can do with movescount.com.

Check it out!

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size

I have tried them all-Timex, garmin, Tom Tom, phone apps and they all are not as accurate nor consistent. This watch has almost everything any athlete(runner, bicyclist, swimmer, or mountaineer) can ask for. It is extremely well built with a high resolution screen as well as buttons that feel reliable and long lasting when you push them. The altimeter is the most accurate of any watch I have very used because it uses GPS as well and it's air pressure sensor.

In addition the what the description says about this product, I have found that western mountaineering is one of the very few companies out there that is true to their ratings, specs, and quality assurances. Being one of the best fitted down jacket by WM, the flash xr is by far the best down jacket on the market. Pricy it is, but unbeatable by performance and quality. Highly recommended.

If you are used to the typical cotton or thin ASIC's running socks you will be in for a surprise. I ran cross country for over a year using typical cotton socks and then for another 4 years with the nice $15.00 Asic's thin runners socks. The primary problem I had was moisture build up and comfort. Then the asids took take of the moisture part and were a bit more comfy. The only problem I have from the asics was the odor control. Then I finally gave smart wool a try. As soon I I slipped them on I felt a tremendous difference and they took off from there. Excellent breathability, excellent warmth or cooling abilities, and no odor even when I whore them for 5 consecutive days running.

I purchased these pants not too long ago and they are by far the best quality, warmest, and amazing fit down pants on the market. True to sizing, Recommended for cold mountain weather. Not sure why Back Country will not carry more Western Mountaineering gear. Way to cool of gear. Check out their sleeping bags as well. Off the Charts!!!

This bottle is made very well in regards to its stainless features. It keeps water cold and warm for a long period of time and is durable; however, the cap is too difficult to get tight enough to not leak, and when you do get it tight enough, it is extremely difficult to loosen. In addition, my bottle fell a short distance of about 18 inches(filled) and it cracked the cap instantly. Hydro Flask is a great brand and they do better smaller bottles.
