These are very reasonably priced and take care of business. Occasionally I get some minor back slide on a steep section of the skin track, but in general I have not had any other problems with them. The cutting tool is great and easy to use. I have them set up for a pair of Line SFB's. See GURU photo above. I would def recommend them. I like the loop instead of clips on the front like the other G3's.

I love these boots. They are hands down the best boots I've ever had. They are stiff and get me rolling through the bumps but can handle earning some turns as well. The new plastic seems to get a few more dings than my traditional alpine tecnica's but who cares about a few scratches. Tools to be used. The only problem I've ever had with them was the lock to ski function froze on me on one really long skin track and needed to thaw for a bit in order to lock. But as soon as they warmed up they were back to spec. That was probably more of my fault for leaving them in my truck the night before due to couch surfing.

Best comment I've gotten all year was by a kid in the lodge at Crested Butte two weeks ago... he said those are sick boots. Its what Lebron would wear if he skied. HA!

I have the adult version of this ski and I absolutely love it. Its great in busting through the crud, but enough rise to stay on top of the pow. I have them mounted with Dukes and use them as my back country ski. Its a bit heavy for a back country setup, but I've pretty much made this my one ski quiver these days.

I initially picked this pack up to be my inbounds pack for carrying the on mountain essentials like fluids, goggle changes, snacks, lunch, and whatever else might be needed. I have since started using it for some light slack country and back country skinning. The pack is absolutely perfectly sized. Its not to big that you feel uncomfortable on the lift, but its big enough to get everything you might need for hard charging powder day. The ski carry is really quick and really easy to use. Since I got this pack, I don't use my bigger mountain hardwear wayback pack for anything other than storage.
